These are all words used to describe Living Word’s Nursery. Be at ease and enjoy the service while your child is in the nursery or toddler room. Age appropriate songs and stories are presented to show Jesus’ love. We also make sure that all our nursery facilities are peanut product free for those children with sensitive allergies.

Ages

We have separated the children into two rooms in order to ensure the best environment for our children. Our nursery room accommodates children ages birth to 2½ and our toddler room accommodates children ages 2½ to 5.

Location

The birth to 2½ year old nursery room is located in the west wing and is the last room on the right. Within the nursery area there is a place for Nursing Mothers, a changing table and plenty of toys to go around. The nursery room is also equipped with closed circuit speakers for listening to the service. The 2½ to 5 year old toddler room is located in west wing and is the first room on the right.

Security

Your child’s security is our highest priority. We make sure all workers are fingerprinted and that a complete background check has taken place to ensure the safest environment. When you place your child in the nursery, your child will be given a tag with a number; a matching number is on the sign-in sheet when you drop your child off. That number is given to you. No one will be able to pick up your child without having the matching number. This system is for the protection of your child. Should there be a need to reach a parent during one of our worship services, we will simply have your number displayed on the digital screen located on either side at the front of the sanctuary.

Cleanliness

All toys, cribs, and other equipment in the nursery are sanitized with disinfectant. Sheets are changed after each use. All caregivers who participate in changing diapers use latex gloves and the changing pad paper is replaced after every use.
